Fair questions.

It is used to draw your poster and nothing else. There is no feed, no leaderboard and no profile, and nobody sees your route until you share it. This website has no account and no third-party embeds, and counts its visits on our own server, without a cookie; what the app sends, its usage statistics included, and what the server keeps of it, is on the privacy page.

Two for a screen, both free and with no watermark, chosen under Page, then Format: a story at 1080×1920, or a 3:4 post at 1080×1440. The post can be portrait or landscape, and in landscape the map sits on the left with the title and stats in a column to its right; a story is portrait only. Either is a PNG, handed to your phone’s share sheet, so it can go straight to the photo library, a message or an app; PNG rather than JPEG because the background can be transparent. Adret Pro adds two for paper, at 300 dpi and in portrait or landscape: A3, which prints just as well at A4 or A2 and fits a 50×70 cm frame, and 30×40 cm, which also prints at 60×80.

No. A simple file is enough: nothing to connect, nothing to set up. But if you prefer, you can connect Strava and import your activities directly.

The app shows you. The first poster you open runs a short tour: twelve cards, each pointing at one thing on the sheet and saying what it does, with a counter so you can see how far it goes. Skip leaves it at any card.
  • The four tabs along the bottom are what a poster is made of: Styles, Page, Map and Terrain. Above them, each tab has its own row of entries: tapping one opens its controls over the poster, and tapping it again puts them away.
  • The poster itself is a way in: tap the title, the date or the stats and the panel that sets them opens.
  • Nothing has to be saved. Every change is written as you make it, and Undo takes the last one back.
To see the tour again, open the ••• menu and choose “Show the tour”.
